If I’m in public wearing headphones, there’s about three equally likely scenarios going on:

• I’m listening to music.
• I’m wearing headphones to look like I’m looking to music so people will leave me alone.
• I meant to be listening to music, but I put the headphones in and plugged them into my phone and just got distracted by something else before I actually opened up Pandora or whatever.
