I was contemplating writing a few paragraphs about the Pewdiepie drama thing but this post sums things up far more succintly & eloquently than I ever could.

I do have to say though that I’m kinda filled with a huge sense of dread thinking about how many teenagers are going to be sucked up by all the “enlightened free thinkers” (like Sargon of Akkad) who are co-opting this drama to introduce people to their ideology. It’s a bit frightening.

We already have a bunch of big YouTubers, like JonTron, going into a stream with him and putting out fantastic statements such as “Starbucks hiring refugees is treason” and “Richard Spencer (that nazi who got punched) just wants a white ethnostate, I don’t think he’s a fascist”. It worries me that these are the people that many kids are going to be listening to 😦
