For as much as I hate the faction plot of BFA the gameplay continues to be a lot of fun. The battle for lordaeron and the following stormwind chain both had some elements I hadn’t seen before or hadn’t seen in a long time, and a lot of the quest cinematics were visually pretty cool.

I also really enjoy some of the new NPCs like Talanji I LOVE HER and the development/personality given to existing NPCs like Rokhan. The zandalari are a BLESSING the whole race oozes with charm and their 110 zones are amazing. There’s a lot of story around the zandalari and a lot of potential for great things. For the first time in 10 years i want to roll a troll.
imo most of the game story that ISNT directly about the the faction war is pretty good thus far. There’s a lot of attention to detail from the NPCs, lots of voicelines, personality, charm, and it all makes the world feel alive. I want to know the backstory of this random guard who pointed me to the elevator in zuldalar. I want to know if this little vulpera girl makes friends with every camel or just the two pulling her cart.
Some of the updated models are downright beautiful, like the raptors and hyenas. I want every horse.
