pretty fucked up how the alliance leaders, some of whom are thousands and thousands of years old, have to listen to a 18 year old human who’s left his house like twice, ever

oh god I don’t even dislike anduin anymore but this had me laughing harder than I should have hahah

Did anyone forget that Anduin was like, what 12, when he went on that investigation in Cata that exposed the Twilight Hammer in Stormwind?

Yeah. What happened was Varian invited us over and asked us to watch his son as he explored Stormwind, but then Anduin went full Hardy Boys and discovered Twilight agents within the royal court

Then he shipwrecked on Pandaria, got briefly kidnapped by the Horde, later Shadow Priest mind-controlled his way out of an Alliance rescue team and tracked Garrosh’s activities before trying to fight him (and an ancient magical bell) solo

Anduin’s a ride-or-die sort of monarch, but now his dad’s not there to bail him out

It’s really weird how hard some people jump through hoops to try to discredit Anduin when he’s a perfectly capable, legitimate leader despite his age (not to mention a leader actively trying to find his place in the scheme of things and improve his leadership as he goes along).

me mentioning that that perhaps a child who has very little experience leading an entire faction is not as capable as other people who have been alive longer than the human race has existed = jumping through hoops apparently

fuck off maureen, the divine right of kings is a GREAT idea
