whenever i read this part im genuinely baffled that kishimoto wasnt trying to depict ino as jealous that sakura liked someone else? like? thats the only way i can see to interpret this -she found out that sakura had a crush a boy and decided that she had to do the same. bc she didnt know that liking another girl was even an option, she misinterpreted her jealousy as ‘oh, i must like sasuke as well!’
