Don’t like a bad movie? That’s hate speech, bigot.

So basically, if someone genuinely doesn’t think it’s a good movie, they’re automatically a Nazi and can’t possibly have any other reason for not liking it. Not because the story’s confusing, the acting is subpar, it strays too far from the comic, etc. It HAS to be because they’re Nazis. What the fuck even? If you’re going to run a public site where audiences can come to criticize a movie, you shouldn’t get to pick and choose the opinions. Not only does that delegitimize every other movie rating on the site, but it also hinders free speech. It’s one thing to not want people writing “stupid niggers” in the comments, but it’s another to completely take away the ability to dislike the movie in general. I’ve lost all faith in Rotten Tomatoes now. Who knows how many other ratings they’ve messed with.

You’re an idiot if you think that Rotten Tomatoes isn’t going to distinghuish between what’s hate speech and what’s an actual negative review. Do you REALLY think they’ll jeopardize their entire fan base by taking down every negative comment they see? Or are they only going to take down the ones that show a clear and implicit bias/exemplify hate speech? Take your time. I know it must be hard for you to think critically since you didn’t even bother to read the fucking article.

Oh, I read the article. And FYI, they ARE removing any negative comment. Wanna know how I know? Because I tested it. I wrote a review, saying that the story was bland and boring. I didn’t say anything racist. Not even an hour later, my review disappeared. Hmm. I guess they DON’T care if something is hate speech or not. So maybe you’re wrong and they’re just removing anything that can be construed and slightly negative.

Also the movie isn’t even OUT as yet so why would they leave your comment up if it’s clear you’re LYING? Obviously they’d count that as unwarranted hate meant to lower the rating but that’s not even the case and you want to know how I know that? Because I just checked and there are LOTS of hate messages still up. 35 pages of it actually. And there’s a lot worse shit up there than what you said you typed up. You’re such a fucking liar smh
